Journal 8/24

Having picked an hundred foot rope as my object for the assignment, my writing certainly wasn't restricted by space. However, I did find that keeping my writing legible was a bit of a struggle, since the Sharpie just bled through the cotton and onto my fingers. Overall, the objects shape had very little affect on my writing. In fact, I thought it might have been kind of fun to do a whole story on the rope, telling of its "long" life as nothing but a common laundry line.
